We are located in Cawsand in South East Cornwall

Coombe House is a farmhouse bed and breakfast which lies in the peaceful rural setting of Coombe Farm on the famous and picturesque Mount Edgcumbe estate close to Polhawn Fort and part of the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. Extensively bombed in World War II, the house has been completely renovated and refurbished to incorporate many of its original features and offers a high standard of accommodation.

About the area

We are only a five minute drive from Polhawn Fort, Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, Fort Picklecombe and Maker Heights. Just a short drive away lies the beautiful Whitsand Bay with its stunning sandy beaches.

Within walking distance of the house you will find lovely beaches, stunning scenery, numerous coastal paths to explore and the unspoilt house and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe Park.

The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are relatively still untouched commercially yet still offer everything the discerning tourist will require. There are four pubs all offering a high standard of food; whether it be quick traditional pub grub or freshly caught local fish and seafood, you will not be disappointed.
